As an artist, I am driven by colour, contrast and light. Landscapes catch my eye everywhere. Nature shows its beauty in so many ways, so there are many “stop the car!” moments to capture the details that will be used in combination with other reference images or that moment in time is so perfect, the scene is captured for a future painting. Creating a piece that resonates memories and feelings in the viewer is what I strive for.
