Visual Art has been a passion from a young age. Although an artist on the inside, to be an artist on the outside always seemed unattainable or unrealistic.
One does their best to conform to society norms, attempt to live a practical life, work, raise a family etc. Drawing continued as a hobby with portrait commissions. Making wreaths for co-workers while working as Registered Practical Nurse in Long Term Care. Empathetically caring for the older age population was very rewarding and enriching, however burnout is real. The life-changing effects from the pandemic on essential workers are real. Transformation needed to happen.
Harry Tatters Art Company, established in 2022, became the driving force for a long- awaited path. Art therapy healed what was broken. This journey to create with colour and expression has opened new doors and approaches to life. Each piece of work is created with love and connection to inspiration.
